Directions from Langport:

From start line by footbridge follow gravel path with river on RHS.
  ⇓
0.15k               ♦ Beware of walkers, spectators, fishermen and dogs
  ⇓
Cross narrow bridge over drain and continue along path with river on RHS.
  ⇓
0.67k               ♦ Continue to be aware of walkers, fishermen and dogs
  ⇓
Go right at Huish Bridge to cross river and continue ahead along track [do not take the first riverside path].
  ⇓
0.11k               ♦ Possible farm or other miscellaneous traffic may use this route
  ⇓
At 2nd metal gate on LHS, signed with PT logo, turn left through gate and follow ahead.
  ⇓
0.22k               ♦ General rural path conditions
  ⇓
Pass through another metal gate and follow path going toward riverside.  Continue through fields with river on LHS.
  ⇓
1.36k               ♦ Horses, cattle or other farm stock likely to be in fields and may have left fresh slip hazards scattered around
  ⇓
At Law Lane, with Muchelney Abbey visible in distance on LHS, pass through gates either side of carriageway to continue ahead on riverside path.
  ⇓
0.53k               ♦ Beware of traffic and numerous cyclists as you cross road, also look out for farm stock in fields ahead.
  ⇓
Pass by abutments of old railway bridge [ex Yeovil to Bridgwater line] and continue along riverside.
  ⇓
1.30k               ♦ Cattle or other farm stock likely to be in fields
  ⇓
On reaching junction with Southmoor Main Drain [leading to the disused Westport Canal] the route turns right over Midelney Syphon Outlet.
  ⇓
0.10k               ♦ Mixed underfoot conditions
  ⇓
Go left across bridge at entrance to pumping station.  To get back to river you head for the pumping station building itself, passing by it on the west side where the big black pipe elbows project, then go left and around the conspicuous tall trees to finally cross the narrow bridge over the Westmoor Main Drain Gravity Outfall.
  ⇓
1.43k               ♦ Mixed underfoot conditions
  ⇓
At Thorney Road, turn right by the bridge and then keep on RHS of road.
  ⇓
0.14k               ♦ Stay on RHS of road facing traffic
  ⇓
Just as road curves left, turn right into Newmead Drove [not visibly named].
  ⇓
0.08k               ♦ May be some farm traffic or private vehicles using track
  ⇓
Just after bridge crosses over drain, turn left through metal gate, signposted to Huish Episcopi.  Follow path keeping drain on your LHS.
  ⇓
0.45k               ♦ Be aware of stock in some fields, including horses
  ⇓
Pass through gates to cross Pitt Drove. Hedging on south side may partly obscure wooden kissing gate, but you should end up still with drain on your LHS.
  ⇓
0.61k               ♦ Path runs by bank up to drain and in places may quickly become very soft
  ⇓
Path still follows drain as you leave larger open fields and pass through gates in to smaller more 'private looking' areas.
  ⇓
0.12k               ♦ Be aware of bonfire piles or other garden debris
  ⇓
Route changes side of drain, going left at metal gate and over low stone arch bridge, then immediately turning right to follow path with drain now on RHS.
  ⇓
0.80k               ♦ Bridge surface is stony and may be slippery in wet conditions
  ⇓
At hedge line pass through wooden kissing gate into wild garden meadow and follow mowed path to right.  Path curves quickly around to opposite treeline.  Where path straightens look for sleeper bridge on RHS and exit meadow though wooden gate beyond.
  ⇓
0.05k               ♦ Bridge may be slippery in wet conditions
  ⇓
Follow path ahead, initially with conifers on RHS but then opening out into field.
  ⇓
0.13k               ♦ Grassy path, potentially slippery and muddy if wet
  ⇓
Cross narrow wooden bridge with gates either side and continue to pass through fields and gates ahead.
  ⇓
0.45k               ♦ Bridge may be slippery in wet conditions
  ⇓
Path bears left into treeline and then has stile to climb over.  Follow path curving left and keep wooden fence, with line of planted trees behind, on LHS.
  ⇓
0.18k               ♦ Stile may be slippery if wet.  Path here popular with dog walkers, so beware of loose pets and poops
  ⇓
Pass brick building on your RHS and bear right onto gravel driveway which then becomes tarmac road [West End].  Follow road and soon take right fork into Silver Street [not signed].
  ⇓
0.22k               ♦ Beware of moving traffic and pedestrians
  ⇓
Cross Thorny Road into Church Street opposite and then go ahead for handover point near church hall.
  ⇓
0.16k               ♦ Busy road, be very, very careful crossing over
  ⇓
Handover is where trail path turns right into alleyway off Church Street.

Additional information:

Please use nearby on street parking as we have not made any arrangements to use the hall parking.  Space can be a bit limited in this road so kindly use room in other local roads to avoid clogging the carriageway or blocking residents driveways.

If you have time take a look at the church.  Its a fine looking building and has very well kept grounds.

The nearby Wyndham Arms is not a bad place to grab a coffee or some other refreshment, while waiting for teams to pass through Kingsbury.
