UKA Rules for Competition 2016 - 2018

This maybe of interest, it concerns the UKA proposed Rule changes for 2016 to 2018.

Looking at it it looks like if you enter a UKA race next year and are not registered you are likely to be asked to Pay £3.00 extra.

Interesting last statement regarding headphone during road races. And the proposal regarding lapse membership and changing clubs. I know we have had a few members who ran elsewhere and moved to the area or have joined 2 clubs and when I tried to register them couldn't as they were shown on the system as been with another club.
Its a bit daft to me that 'officially' a person has to wait 3 years to lapse membership to change UKA registration without filling in a change of club UKA form and paying UKA a fee for the pleasure', but then being synical why am I not suprised!

We as a club are of course a member of ARC and permit our races via ARC and have to abide by ARC rules. We do not register any of you with EA UKA unless you pay us the extra £10. membership for this.
If you enter any ARC permitted race you DO NOT pay the higher of the 2 prices (unaffiliated fee).
EA UKA organised races should ask for your registration number on the entry forms if you are registered and not sure of your status and Number then I can look it up for you. UKA should have provided an info pack.
