I can confirm the club has a place that we can allocated to a club Member. Just to clarify we will put all eligible names in a hat and draw out the lucky person and a reserve at a forthcoming Committee meeting.
In the first instance this will be allocated to members who are first Claim CRC and who have applied and been rejected for this years London marathon (please provide proof of rejection). Also must have paid CRC and EA subs by the 1st May. Also those who have had the club place in the past 3 years will not be eligible. At present there are 12 names who have paid EA and CRC subs by the 1st May and not had the place in 2019/2021.
We have to submit the club place by 23 August, but will try and sort this well before then to give more time to ramp up the training etc.
We have a committee meeting on Wednesday where we can agree a cutoff time for submissions. I would say just reply and express your interest even if you don't meet all the details above as if nobody on the first list wants the place we will offer to the next set down.
